Description
The ChipX EMC06-025-2F-1226-58 compression cutter is specially designed for desktop CNC routers such as the Vertigo M, MX and Neptune series machines. It provides great cutting performance in a variety of materials such as timber, plywood and MDF, and some laminates. The 1/4″ shank size allows you to use most trim routers without adapters, while the reduced shank allows the tool to reach 26mm deep without rubbing any walls previously cut by its 12mm flute length. The up cut distance is 3mm, with the remainder of the flute length being downcut. The result is the top face of your material is pushed down into itself, and the bottom face is pulled up into itself, dramatically improving the cut quality of your parts’ edges even on uneven wasteboards.
The cutter is coated with a ta-C Diamond Like Coating (DLC), providing much greater wear resistance, higher operating temperatures and increased lubricity.
